“The size of a thumb was used by humans as a measurement for very long time. 6. Oracle ACFS / ASM Filter Driver and Oracle Enterprise Linux
Gary Gordhamer writes, “In the world of Oracle databases, DBA’s and system administrators don’t always see eye to eye. Mostly I have found that this is really just about coming at challenges from different angles. Some of the major changes in Oracle since 10g version has been the introduction of Oracle Automatic Storage Management or ASM. This has led to many features such as ASMLIB, ASM Clustered Filesystem (ACFS), and now the ASM Filter Driver (AFD or ASMFD). These features require OS specific compatible libraries, and kernel modules.”

8. Provisioning Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse
Dayne Carley says, “Oracle Analytics for Applications (FAW / OAX) is built on top of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and is powered by Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW). FAW extracts and loads data from your Oracle Fusion Applications Cloud into an instance of ADW and provides a semantic model with prebuilt KPIs, dashboards, and reports in OAC.
The Oracle document here lists the currently regions available for provisioning.
