In a world that has gone cloud and visualisation crazy, it was a joy last week to install some Oracle onto a Physical Server.
Yep, a real server you can look at, touch, pickup and move office

And best of all? It was soo easy to install on, and re-install, and re-install.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like my virtualbox setup, which enables me to build Linux machines, but this beauty was cheaper than a cloud machine (for the same level of power), and is scalable, can be used internally or remotely.
The main reason we choose it? It is quiet, cheap and flexible – we are not locked into a provider. It has full raid, and you can even stick a USB into it.
Ah, the good ole days!
