Analytics Performance

My focus on Analytics is around installing and use on large projects – i.e big databases, lots of users, and sub 2 second response times.

Obviously you can choose to use Oracle Analytics Cloud, there are certainly some good arguments for doing that, especially when it come to the latest updates. Analytics is at best 3 months behind OAC, and can be up to 15 months behind. But if you are using Analytics Server instead (and there are lots of reasons why you should!), then the series of blogs below will help that to ensure that was a good decision.

With Analytics Server you get a chance to be better than OAC in performance, but only if you follow the advice – it won’t be faster than the significant Oracle Cloud resources without some effort on your part.

Over this year I am drafting several articles to help you get the performance you need, the list below are the planned and published blogs….
